The Beach House Menu
The idea behind The Beach House is to provide simple, delicious, locally sourced food, in great surroundings with a wonderful view.
Coffees are fair-trade and organic. Breads are freshly made by bakers we think are the best; no additives, no preservatives and no palm oil. Our croissants and pastries are also the best we can find. Cakes are hand made mostly here in Portobello by mums with a talent we don't have. Eggs are local, free-range and organic as is our milk. Our vegetarian soups are freshly made as are our quiches and pizzas. Our meats are from Findlay's of Portobello: free range, naturally fed and locally sourced and the farmhouse cheddar is the genuine unpasteurised article, courtesy of Iain Mellis, Edinburgh's finest Cheesemonger.
